The new feast day, which will be celebrated annually the day after Pentecost, the Pope approved the celebration because he thought it might “encourage the growth of the maternal sense of the church in the pastors, religious and faithful, as well as a growth of genuine Marian piety.” On Friday 25th May we will be streaming the Angelus live from Scots College Rome, where a few of our seminarians will lead the Angelus for the intention of saving the 8th amendment & for the protection of all the unborn babies & mothers in Ireland.
