You might think the peal of chapel bells ringing across the college on a Sunday morning would be the stuff of nightmares for students sleeping off a hangover, but those at Oxford, Cambridge and Durham beg to differ.

To celebrate Fr Sean’s 90th birthday there will be a mass of thanksgiving in St Aidan’s (Johnstone) at 7pm on Friday 23rd August. Concelebrated by Bishop John.  Tea in hall afterwards. All welcome.

Aid to the Church in Need is a Catholic charity helping to bring Christ to the world through prayer, information and action; the charity is a Pontifical Foundation of the Catholic Church. The role of an Area Secretary is to present the work of Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) in the area to which he or she is appointed. He or she will work in a specific area of the Diocese(s) / Area(s) with the permission of the Bishop(s) concerned.

The new Safeguarding Part Two Training session, is for volunteers who have previously attended Safeguarding Training Part One, or Safeguarding Training Level One, more than eighteen months ago.  If you attended Safeguarding Training Level One in 2016 or 2017, you should put your name forward for Safeguarding Training Part Two.
