On 7th June, Michael Riddoch will take part in the 15K Tough Mudder and his children (Chloe, P5 and Joseph, P1) will tackle the same event (1K). They are raising funds for our Diocesan Youth Commission.
Commenting on their efforts, the Vicar Episcopal for Youth Fr Ryan Black said, “On behalf of the young people we serve, the Youth Commission is so grateful to Michael, Chloe and Joseph for volunteering for Tough Mudder to raise funds. The Youth Commission is responsible for fostering the faith and developing friendships among the young people of the Diocese of Paisley (aged 5-35), spanning Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire. It does this through a number of initiatives including regular retreats, monthly opportunities for catechesis and socialising, and annual pilgrimages. Of course, there are costs associated with each initiative, so the commitment to raise much needed funds from Michael and his young children is so gratefully appreciated."
Your donations will go directly towards enabling the Commission to run events and potentially do even more for our communities, making a lasting impact. Every donation is greatly appreciated.
