A cross-party group of MPs will table an amendment to the Criminal Justice Bill to reduce the abortion time limit from 24 to 22 weeks.

It is likely to be voted on at Report Stage in around two weeks.

This week, Right to Life UK will send out postcards to parishes. Bishop Keenan ecnourages everyone to complete and send these postcards to their MPs to vote for this reduction.

Even though the bill will directly affect only England and Wales, it is open to Scottish MPs to speak and vote on it, and your responses may have particular influence in Scotland in due course.
