Thanks to the generosity of the local parish communities in the St Benedict’s Cluster, one hundred hot three-course meals will be cooked and distributed on Sunday 31st December 2023.

The meals will be distributed to 26 households who will also receive sweets, biscuits, mince pies, crackers, selection boxes, board games and a wrapped Christmas gift for each of the children in the household.

Thanks to the ongoing generosity of people in our parishes, in the past year, St Conval’s has also distributed 517 Welfare packages (Food, Toiletries and Laundry Liquid, and if required socks and underwear).  

This is just one example of the local Church being one of mission, outward-looking, assisting those in need. It is great to be able to live our Gospel Vocation!
