On Saturday 16th December, members of the Legion of Mary spoke with people of all faiths and none in Paisley town centre.
Over a period of two hours, the legionaries spoke about the real meaning of Christmas with lots of people, many of whom had young children with them. The children all went instinctively to stand as close to the Crib as possible to gaze at and reach out to the Baby Jesus.
Each person who spoke with the legionaires accepted a Miraculous Medal and a leaflet explaining the story behind the medal, which also included a prayer for the intercession of Our Lady.
Many said how uplifting it was to see the Crib there in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the town centre.
We thank the legionaries for their faithful service!
