In the Middle East, the birthplace of Christianity, Christians and other minorities are being violently persecuted, driven out and wiped out. Even their places of worship are being destroyed.
Faithkeepers gives face and voice to the humanitarian crisis and genocide affecting millions in the Middle East as a result of religious and ethnic persecution. The film is a testament to the stories of the persecuted and an inspiring portrait of the human spirit. Its message and testimonies are especially poignant at Easter.
It's important to note that Faithkeepers has been embraced across the inter-faith community;
“As Muslims, we applaud the makers of the powerful documentary, “Faithkeepers,” for bringing attention to the persecution of Christians and other minorities, including Muslims, in the Middle East. We urge all houses of worship to show the film and take action to help those in need so that we may live in peace and freedom together, regardless of faith."
This collective endorsement is penned by Raheel Raza, President, Council for Muslims Facing Tomorrow, and signed by dozens, including;
- Stephen Suleyman Schwartz, Executive Director, Center for Islamic Pluralism
- Sheikh Ahmed Subhy Mansour, President, International Quranic Center
Faithkeepers – the movie and movement – will awaken, enlighten and inspire all people of faith to stand up and take action.
This film is free to screen globally, including in all schools and churches worldwide, and is very suitable to be viewed during religious discussions, whilst teaching about the persecuted church, the Acts of the Apostles, and in preparation for Holy Week and Easter. Screenings can be in churches, schools, community centres, cinemas, private homes, anywhere really.
