On the Memorial of the Guardian Angels, Bishop Keenan celebrated Mass in his cathedral in the presence of the relics of Saints Andrew, Margaret and Columba.
The relics came to the Diocese of Paisley on Sunday 1st October 2023 as part of a national tour organised by the Knights of St Columba.
The priests at the cathedral presided at Solemn Vespers as the relics arrived. The following day, they were on display for private veneration all day until the bishop celebrated Mass on Monday evening.
The Knights of St Columba transported the relics from the cathedral to St Andrew's church in Bearsden on Tuesday 3rd October.
We thank God for allowing our cathedral to host the relics of the Scottish saints, and for the graces received during their stay.
