The annual Chrism Mass will be celebrated in the cathedral on Wednesday 27th March.

Bishop Keenan invites the people of the diocese to the celebration of the Chrism Mass in St Mirin’s Cathedral on Wednesday 27^th March at 7pm. 

At the Chrism Mass, the bishop blesses and consecrates the Sacred Oils that will be used in the celebration of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Ordination and the Anointing of the Sick. 

Parishioners from each parish will bear the Sacred Oils to the parishes for their use in the year ahead.

Refreshments will be served in the Cathedral Halls after Mass.
