REFORMING THE COMMISSION
Despite the Pandemic Years, The Evangelisation Commissionhas been able to do great work, supporting Alpha Courses, encourage intercessory prayer and making available a variety of resources on Evangelisation.
Fr Jim Duggan has recently been appointed by Bishop John as the Vicar Episcopal for Evangelisation. Now is the perfect time to plan for the future of the commission and its work, without the restrictions of recent years. The fruit of this time of reflection will be seen in the coming months.
In Eastertide of 2016, Bishop John Keenan convoked a Diocesan Synod on the Role of the Lay Faithful in the New Evangelisation.
