I present to you the young people of our Diocese who participated in this years World Youth Day in Krakow. Could our group please stand!. Bishop John although our time in Poland is now over, the real work of putting into practice all we have learned now begins. Pope Francis has challenged us to 'leave a mark' on this world. We want to respond to that challenge by living our lives just as we did at World Youth Day: for Jesus and with one another.
World Youth Day has taught us so much: the beauty of our faith, our friendships, and our Church. But most importantly, that being young and full of energy is exactly what the Church needs us to be. World Youth Day was a life changing adventure, but we know that the real adventure is in living our Christian lives wherever we are. After all the walking we have done, our shoes will never be the same! After World Youth Day, neither will we.
We were Paisley Diocese World Youth Day 2016, We entrust our youth and enthusiasm to Jesus, as we offer ourselves in service to His Church in our Diocese. We now invite the group forward to receive certificates from Bishop John.
