Reps will write to MSPs and encourage others to do the same; they will meet MSPs in their surgeries; they will call public meetings in Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire, inviting local councillors, MSPs and MPs.

At the same time, Bishop Keenan will be meeting with MSPs to invite them to work to ensure proper public discourse, to ask them not to abstain on such a momentous decision and to express our concerns.

The Bill may be voted on by the end of the year, so we have to act fast. If you are interested in becoming a parish rep, please email Marianne Boland and state that you are interested in being a parish rep; someone will be in touch.
