Children from across the diocese gathered on the First Sunday of Lent for a Lenten Retreat organised by the diocesan Youth Commission.

The Retreat Day was based upon the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary; the children were encouraged to think about Holy Week and the events leading to and including the death of the Lord.

The itinerary included the celebration of Holy Mass, the recitation of a decade of the Rosary, games, dinner and other activities.
