Following on from
Monsignor Tom Monaghan’s retiring, I made the following moves this morning:
Monsignor Thomas J Provost Monaghan has retired as Parish Priest of St Cadoc’s, Newton Mearns.
Father Eoin Patten has resigned as Parish Priest of St Francis, Port Glasgow and is appointed as
Parish Priest of Saint Cadoc’s, Newton Mearns, and Assistant Chaplain to St. Ninian’s High, Giffnock.
Fr Matthew Carlin, Assistant Priest at St Mirin’s Cathedral, Paisley is appointed as
Parish Priest of St Francis, Port Glasgow and Chaplain to St. Stephen’s High School, Port Glasgow.
Fr Jonathan Whitworth, Assistant Priest in St Joseph’s, Clarkston is appointed as
Assistant Priest to St Mirin’s Cathedral, Paisley and Assistant Chaplain to St. Andrew’s Academy, Paisley.
All appointments are effective from 12 noon on Friday 1
st March, 2019.
