Bishop Keenan has released the following statement:

 “We received the sad news of the death of Cardinal Keith O’Brien, Emeritus Archbishop of  St Andrews and Edinburgh. This morning  I offered Mass for the repose of his soul.  

On behalf of the people of Paisley Diocese, I wish to express my sympathy to his family and close friends and invite you to offer prayers for his eternal rest.”
