On Friday 29 October, approximately 1100 Primary 7 pupils from across the Diocese, gathered in St. Mirin's Cathedral, to celebrate their Vocations Mass which begins their time of preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in Easter Tide. They were accompanied by about 100 members of staff. Bishop John spoke to them about their call (their vocation) to try to be like Jesus and encouraged them to pray to Mary, Mother of us all.
Senior pupils from St. Benedict's High School, provided support this year as part of their involvement in the CARITAS Award.
